What is the AIYLC?
AIYLC is a four-day, three-night leadership experience for 10th- and 11th-grade students. Through hands-on challenges, interactive instruction, historic site visits, and team activities. Students explore leadership, citizenship, and free enterprise while building confidence and lasting friendships.
50% Leadership
Hands-on challenges in teamwork, communication, character, critical thinking, conflict, and discovering your own leadership style.
30% Civics & Patriotism
Explore American history, government, the Constitution, citizenship, and the responsibilities that come with freedom—including visits to historic sites.
20% Free-Enterprise
Discover entrepreneurship, financial decision-making, economic freedom, and how creative ideas become real-world opportunities.
