Volunteers play an essential role in guiding students through workshops, tours, and activities that build leadership, patriotism, and free-enterprise skills. Whether serving as a mentor, assisting with logistics, or supporting special events, your involvement helps create a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment for high school students. By volunteering, you are not just giving your time—you are investing in the growth of future leaders.

Ways to Volunteer at AIYLC

  • Mentor: Guide small groups of students through workshops and activities, providing encouragement and leadership insight.

  • Chaperone: Help ensure student safety and accountability in lodging, meals, and travel.

  • Logistics Support: Assist with registration, room setup, transportation coordination, and general event operations.

  • Workshop Assistant: Support instructors during leadership, patriotism, and free-enterprise sessions.

  • Tour Guide Support: Help lead students during site visits to Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown.

  • Guest Speaker: Share professional or personal expertise on leadership, history, or entrepreneurship.
